Legislators in New Jersey have made gun violence prevention a priority, but so far, lawmakers in Washington have failed to take action.

The gun lobby might be powerful on Capitol Hill, but when we organize, we can be stronger.

On Thursday, November 14th, OFA supporters are getting together in Clifton to discuss how we can keep the pressure on Congress to act on federal gun violence prevention legislation -- can you join in?

Here are the details:

What: Gun violence prevention event in Clifton

Where: Clifton High School Auditorium
333 Colfax Ave.
Clifton, NJ 07013

When: Thursday, November 14th
7:00 p.m.

RSVP now

We'll be joined by Darren Wagner, a Newtown parent, and his son, Trystan, who has been working to get young adults involved in the fight for gun violence prevention. Also joining us will be Robert Tessaro, president of Safe Schools Technologies and former national law enforcement director for the Brady Center, and Nico Bocour, project director for Ceasefire NJ.

It should be a powerful event for anyone who wants to make gun violence prevention a priority.

RSVP now to come out on Thursday:
